Beatrice Joyce Buhs

Oregon, IL, Beatrice J. Buhs, age 86, passed away on May 26, 2020 in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Morris, IL.  Beatrice was born on January 10, 1934 in Dixon, IL, the daughter of Andrew & Mary J. (Wigchers) Buhs.  She served in the US Army for 3 years.  Beatrice received her teacher’s degree from Bob Jones University.  She was an Elementary School teacher for 18 years retiring in 2000.

Beatrice is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother: Marvin Buhs; sister: Shirley Cain Cahoy; and niece: Joyce Stauffer.

A private family burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
