Barbara A Kump

Leaf River, IL, Barbara A. Kump, age 77, died Wednesday November 19, 2014 in UW Hospital, Madison, WI. Barb was born July 21, 1937 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Harry & Anna (Arens) Nichols. Barbara married Royal Grove, who preceded her in death and then Barbara then married William Kump who also preceded her in death. Barb owned and operated Barb's Café in Mt. Morris, IL for 26 years and later worked at The Country Inn in Leaf River, IL for 11 years. She loved the many different seasons to decorate and her cat Tinker Bell. Barbara fought cancer twice and won, but she succumbed to the effects of her Radiation treatments. Barb was a member of VFW Women's Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and Mt. Morris Women of The Moose. Barbara is survived by Several Step-Children and many Nieces & Nephews. Cousin: Phyllis Asche, Leaf River, IL. Barbara is preceded in death by her Parents, both Husbands, 2 Sisters, and 1 Brother. Visitation will be Sunday November 23, 2014 in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Graveside service will be Monday November 24, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in Lightsville Cemetery, Lightsville, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials to be determined.
