Mt. Morris, IL, Anita Louise Martin, age 68, died Wednesday April 22, 2015 in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Morris, IL. Anita was born July 15, 1946 in Oregon, IL the daughter of Hal L. & Jennie H. (Hillers) Snodgrass. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School class of 1964. Anita married Earl E. Martin on September 6, 1969 in the United Methodist Church, Mt. Morris, IL. Anita worked in the bindery department in Kable Printing fro 10 years and then she worked for Watt publishing in Advertising for 29 years retiring in 2004. Anita was a member of the Disciples United Methodist Church, Mt. Morris, IL, where she taught Sunday school and served on various committees. Anita is survived by her Husband: Earl Martin, Mt. Morris, IL; Daughter: Amanda C. Martin-Pressley, Polo, IL; Grandchildren: Ghabriel Monroe Martin-Pressley, Piper Elizabeth Martin-Pressley, and MyKalah Lynn Martin-Pressley, Polo, IL; Nephew: Michael (Erica) Snodgrass, Des Moines, Iowa, and Niece: Tammy (Scott) Glenn, Mt. Morris, IL; 2 Great Nieces and 3 Great Nephews; Sisters: Virginia Snodgrass, Polo, IL and Ruth Snodgrass, Salt Lake City, UT. Anita is preceded in death by her Parents, Sister: Paula Marie Snodgrass. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 25, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in Disciples United Methodist Church, Mt. Morris, IL with rev. Dwight Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Oregon, IL. Visitation will be Saturday April 25, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. until service time in Disciples United Methodist Church, Mt. Morris. Memorials to Disciples United Methodist Church, Mt. Morris Fire Department, Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, and/or Serenity Hospice & Home.
