Mount Morris, IL - Alma L. "Mickey" Dailey, 87, of Mount Morris died Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born March 12, 1923, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of James W. and Mildred L. (Lowe) Rouse. Married Hubert "Cy" Dailey on Sept. 24, 1955, in Mount Morris. Graduate of Mount Morris High School, Class of 1941. Employed as a secretary at Watt Publishing Co. and Kable News Co. Attended Trinity Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir for many years. Member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Women of the Moose, VFW and American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include husband; son, Fred Himert of Lake Forest, Calif.; daughter, Beverly (Carlos) Anthony of Fresno, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sibling, Arlene McGee of Jacksonville, Fla. Predeceased by parents; brothers, Eugene and James Rouse Jr.; sisters, Rosemary Rouse, Margaret Preston, Barbara Baker and Mildred Jacobson. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, in Trinity Lutheran Church, with visitation one hour beforehand. The Rev. Steven Erickson, pastor, will officiate. Burial at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials to be established. Arrangements by Finch Funeral Home.
