Alexis Marie Walker

Mt. Morris, IL, Alexis Marie Walker, age 19, died January 5, 2016 in Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford, IL with her family surrounding her. Alexis was born September 5, 1996 the daughter of Michael & Barbara (Bicksler) Walker. Alexis graduated from Oregon High School Class of 2015. She was attending Educators of Beauty, Sterling, IL. Lexie loved her job at McDonalds in Oregon, IL. She loved to mushroom hunt with her father, she loved her bantering back and forth with mom, Lexie's brother was her best friend and she was his protector. Everyone that Lexie met she instantly became friends. Lexie was an incredible artist and she had a love for animals and nature. Lexie is survived by her parents: Mike Walker, Montross, VA and Barb Walker, Mt. Morris, IL; Brother: Michael Ethan Walker, Montross, VA; Sister: Lillian Walker: Montross, VA; Grandparents: Wayne Bicksler, Freeport, IL, Conrad (Jean) Walker, Polo, IL, Several Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, Special Friend, Taylor Michalak. Lexie is preceded in death by Grandmother: Donna Bicksler and Great Grandmother: Lenora Walker. Funeral Services will be held Thursday January 14, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL, with Rev. Josh Ehrler officiating. Burial will be in Adeline Cemetery, Adeline, IL. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 13, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home. Memorials to be established.
