Freeport, IL, Alexander Dominick Allen, age 12, passed away suddenly in his home on Tuesday March 31, 2026. Alex was born on August 31, 2013 in Rockford, IL, the son of Ashley Beneventi.
Alex loved playing video games, wrestling with his siblings and best friend Jeron, aspiring cook, loved his mom and his sibling beyond words.
Alex is survived by his mother: Ashley Beneventi, Freeport, IL; 2 brothers: Peyton and Bradley, Freeport, IL; 2 sisters: Emaley and Dahlia, Freeport, IL; grandfather: Robert Beneventi, Leaf River, IL; grandmother: Mary Metheny, Rockford, IL; Uncle: Jimi Beneventi, Leaf River, IL; Co-Parents: Carmen Rundblade, Rockford, IL and Alysa Bass, Freeport, IL.
Alex is preceded in death by his grandmother: Mary Beneventi; and uncle: Donny Beneventi.
A visitation will be held on Saturday April 4, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL.
