Albert M Felker

Mt. Morris, IL, Albert M. Felker, age 86, died Tuesday August 25, 2015 in The Serenity Hospice and Home, Oregon, IL. Albert was born February 17, 1929 in Oak Park, IL the son of Hugh W. & Ruth (Newcomer) Felker. Albert served in the US Airforce during the Korean Conflict, and was stationed in Bangor, Maine. Albert graduated with a B.S. in Pharmacy from Drake University. He owned and operated Felker Pharmacy until he retired in 2000. Albert married Margaret (Peggy) Miller at Browns Lake in Burlington, WI in 1955, and she preceded him in death in 1974. Albert married Marjorie L. Blake in Las Vegas, NV on June 29, 1983. He enjoyed fishing, spending time at his lake on the farm and winters in Florida being a snowbird. He was a member of the Mt. Morris Moose Lodge #1551. Albert is survived by his Wife: Marjorie Felker, Mt. Morris, IL; Sons: Tom (Cathy) Felker, Byron, IL, David (Nancy) Felker, Fayetteville, AR; Daughters: Ruth Tucker, Yacolt, WA, Margaret (Andrew) Smart, Ankney, IA; Stepson: Brad Blake, Oregon, IL. 10 Grandchildren and 2 step-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife: Margaret (Peggy); Son: Stuart; and Brother: Robert. Visitation will be Sunday August 30, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL. A private family burial will be in Silver Creek Cemetery, Mt.
